This black and white website design is a metaphor to Jackie Robinson’s heritage and achievement; he broke the discriminatory color barrier as the first African American to play in the professional baseball leagues.
The title banner features a retro typeface which is reminiscent of Jackie’s era. The site navigation imitates classic, hand-operated scoreboards.
